What is Greylytics?
Greylytics automatically suppresses bad leads from your advertising campaigns. When a contact in your CRM is marked as unqualified — wrong number, unreachable, duplicate, or disqualified — Greylytics adds them to a custom suppression audience in Meta Ads so they stop seeing your ads.
The suppression loop
Here's how it works end to end:
A bad lead is identified in your CRM
A contact in GoHighLevel receives a disqualifying disposition — for example, "Wrong Number", "Not Interested", or "Do Not Contact".
Greylytics receives the webhook
GoHighLevel fires a webhook to Greylytics. The contact's data is hashed for privacy and added to your Space's lead list.
The contact is synced to Meta Ads
Greylytics automatically adds the hashed contact to your connected Meta Ads Custom Audience. This audience is used as an ad exclusion on your campaigns.
The contact stops seeing your ads
Meta matches the hashed data against its user base and removes that person from your active campaigns. They no longer see your ads.
Key concepts
Space — A Space is your workspace in Greylytics. It holds your integrations (Meta Ads, CRM), your lead list, and your settings. Most users have one Space per business or brand. Agency accounts can create multiple Spaces, one per client.
Lead — A lead is a contact that Greylytics has received from your CRM via webhook. Every lead has a sync status that tells you whether they've been added to your Meta Ads suppression audience.
Sync — When Greylytics sends a lead to Meta Ads, that's called a sync. A lead can have a status of Synced, Pending, or Failed. See Understanding lead sync status for what each means.
Custom Audience — The Meta Ads Custom Audience that Greylytics creates and manages on your behalf. It's used as an exclusion on your ad campaigns or ad sets.
What Greylytics does not do
- It does not stop bad leads from entering your CRM — that's your intake process.
- It does not modify your campaigns or ad creative.
- It does not manage your ad spend or bidding.
Note
Greylytics currently supports Meta Ads suppression. Google Ads support is coming soon.
