Space member roles

Every person in a Space is assigned a role. Roles control what actions they can take.

Owner

The Owner has full control over the Space. There can only be one Owner per Space. Ownership is assigned to whoever creates the Space and can be transferred to another member.

A common reason to transfer ownership: a client wants to take ownership of their own Space that you set up for them.

Admin

Admins can do almost everything an Owner can, except delete the Space or transfer ownership. This is the appropriate role for trusted team members or agency staff who manage integrations on behalf of a client.

Member

Members have read-only access. They can view the dashboard, see lead counts, and monitor sync status — but they cannot change any settings. This is appropriate for clients or stakeholders who just need visibility.

Changing a member's role

Open Space Settings → Members

Click Space Settings and go to the Members tab.

Find the member

Locate the person whose role you want to change in the members table.

Change their role

Click the role badge next to their name and select the new role from the dropdown.

Note

You cannot change the role of the Space Owner. To change ownership, use the Transfer Ownership option in the Space Settings.
